Michael Bryant
As a father, he not only understands the legal aspect of personal injury and criminal defense, but he also knows how it affects families. Legal troubles, whether you are injured or in need of criminal defense, can be devastating for a family emotionally and financially. With this in mind, Michael strives to find justice for all of his clients in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Michael Bryant was listed in Minnesota Monthly as a Regional Trendsetter (click here to download the PDF version of this article). He is a Managing Partner at Bradshaw & Bryant, PLLC, in Waite Park and Golden Valley, Minnesota. He has been recognized on the list of Minnesota Super Lawyers for 20+ years and has also been selected for inclusion in the list of Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers for many years. Michael has also been named among Minnesota’s Top 40 Personal Injury Lawyers by Minnesota Law & Politics. He was named the Minnesota Association for Justice (MNAJ) Lawyer of the Year, was an Excellence Award winner and served as President in 2009-2010. Michael is a member of the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of Minnesota (ACTLM) and currently serves as Dean on the Executive Board.
Joseph Crumley
Joe enjoys helping injured people and their families to secure just and fair compensation. He has been quite successful since his very first trial, when a Hennepin County jury awarded six times what the insurance company had offered. Since then, he has won the largest verdict in Minnesota for a shoulder injury ($325,000), and, with Jim Schwebel, the largest award in Minnesota for an ankle injury ($461,000). He was recently able to conclude the largest motorcycle injury settlement in Minnesota, for $1.5 million.
John Bradshaw (In Memoriam)
Everyone faces challenges in life, and sometimes they are overwhelming. John Bradshaw dedicated his career to helping people deal with that kind of obstacle. He was fortunate to have had a widely varied education and background in many walks of life. Raised on a farm, John understood the value of a strong work ethic. He also learned the importance of safety and responsibility — lessons that guided him in his career as an attorney. In the legal world, he earned a reputation as a practical problem solver — someone who was resourceful, sharp, and strategic.
Christy Thorson
Christy was promoted to partner with Bradshaw & Bryant in June 2024. She has been with the firm since 2016 and has been practicing personal injury since 2011. In addition to handling personal injury cases, Christy serves as an arbitrator for automobile no-fault cases through the American Arbitration Association (AAA). She serves on the AAA No-Fault Standing Committee and has helped train new arbitrators. She is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice and the Stearns/Benton Bar Association. She participates in Women Trial Lawyers and has presented on no-fault law at the annual conference.
Sean D. Sullivan
Sean is a Minnesota criminal defense attorney who provides aggressive representation for his clients and effectively advocates for their interests. He provides representation to individuals in both the Twin Cities metro area and greater Minnesota. Away from the courtroom, Sean enjoys watching and playing golf, soccer, and hockey, as well as spending time with his tennis ball obsessed rescue dog.
Tucker L. Isaacson
Tucker grew up in Sartell, Minnesota. He attended college at the University of Minnesota Duluth and had his first legal experience volunteering at the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office in Superior, Wisconsin. Tucker then got his Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Paralegals
Julie Kummet
Julie has worked for Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC for over 30 years. She has worked as a paralegal handling the needs of individual clients and helping move cases along. Julie is married and the mother of two sons and still lives in Eden Valley near the original Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC Office. Julie has been involved in numerous trials, arbitrations and hearings. She has worked with all of the lawyers in the firm in continuing to work and process claims for injured clients.
Brenda Salzer
Brenda joined Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC at the end of 2004 as a Paralegal. Brenda has extensive experience working in personal injury having worked in the St. Cloud area for over 27 years. Brenda is married with three children and has lived in the Stearns County area her whole life. Brenda is skilled in the day-to-day communication with clients, preparing cases for litigation and in areas of document production and discovery.
Brandice Crider
Brandice has worked for Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC for nearly 15 years. She was hired on as a Legal Secretary and was quickly promoted to a Paralegal because of her compassion and dedication to our clients. Brandice grew up in Clarissa, MN, and continues to reside in that area. She is married and is a mother of two sons.
Stacy Anderson
Stacy has worked for Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC for 19 years. She was hired as a Legal Secretary and promoted to being a No-Fault Paralegal. Stacy lives in Bowlus, MN with her wonderful husband and is the mother of 4 children. She works in helping clients get their medical bills and wage loss paid through the AAA arbitration process.
Gail Schmit
Gail joined Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC in June of 2007 as a Paralegal. She has over 25 years of experience working in automobile and insurance law. Gail grew up in Benton County, and has now lived in St. Cloud for the past several years. Gail focuses on processing and preparing injury cases whether by settlement or trial.
Mandy M. Johnson
Mandy started at Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC as a paralegal intern and was hired full time in September of 2008. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a Associates in Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from Minnesota School of Business, Waite Park. Mandy is originally from Granite Falls, MN and has been living in the St. Cloud area for several years. She is married and the mother of three.
Ashley Bernard
Ashley joined Bradshaw and Bryant PLLC as a paralegal in 2011. She has over 10 years of experience working in personal injury. She works directly with clients and prepares cases for litigation. Ashley has attended St. Cloud State University and has an Associates in Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from the Minnesota School of Business. She grew up in Richmond, Minnesota and currently lives in Cold Spring.
Cheryl M. Pojanowski
Cheryl started as an intern at Bradshaw & Bryant, PLLC while obtaining a degree in Paralegal studies and was hired on full time in 2011. Cheryl is experienced in dealing with complex circumstances and is willing to take the time necessary to navigate these situations. Cheryl understands that every case is different and unique and works to provide individualized attention to best advocate for her clients.
Cheryl handles personal injury cases at Bradshaw & Bryant but specializes in aiding in the representation of those who were injured as a result of childhood sexual abuse. Cheryl works hard to listen and advocate for survivors of sexual abuse, to give a voice and face to those who have suffered to help them find justice and closure.
Taylor Heim
Taylor joined Bradshaw & Bryant PLLC as a paralegal near the end of 2023. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from St. Cloud State University. Taylor has previous experience working in the Records Unit at a police department, as well as providing direct care and mental health case management to adolescents and their families. Taylor’s education and training provides valuable insights and knowledge that carry over to client care and legal case management. She is originally from the Twin Cities area, but has lived in the St. Cloud area for several years. Taylor is married and has a rescue dog.
