Bradshaw & Bryant, PLLC is personal injury law firm that serves central Minnesota. We are seeking Legal Administrative Assistant. We seek an individual with previous clerical experience and is interested in becoming a part of the legal profession.
The ideal candidate will work in a team to perform legal administrative support for Associates and Paralegals, including document creation and revision, managing and maintaining legal documents, databases, and electronic records and files, assisting in supporting business development, managing the firm calendar, and other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have advanced technical skills in Microsoft 2010 Suite and the willingness to learn new systems and applications. Legal experience is a plus.

What would the hours be? Hours are Monday – Friday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with a lunch break from noon to 1:00 pm
Pay: Negotiable based on education, experience and skill set

Responsibilities:
Scheduling Appointments:Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars by scheduling client meetings, court appearances, depositions, and other appointments. Ensure there are no scheduling conflicts and communicate any changes to the involved parties.
Client Communication:Act as a point of contact between attorneys and clients, answering phone calls and emails, and relaying messages or information as needed. Confirm appointments with clients and provide them with essential information, such as meeting locations and documents to bring.
Document Preparation:Draft and format legal documents and correspondence. Proofread and edit documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements and deadlines. Keep track of court dates and deadlines for case filings, motions, and responses.
Research Support:Conduct legal research using online databases and libraries to gather information and precedents for cases. Compile research findings into organized reports for attorneys' use.
Administrative Tasks:Perform general administrative duties such as managing office supplies, photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents. Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for attorneys attending out-of-town meetings or trials.
Meeting and Hearing Preparation:Prepare attorneys for meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials by organizing necessary documents and materials. Arrange for meeting rooms and any required equipment.
Confidentiality:Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive legal information and client matters at all times.
Technology Proficiency:Stay updated on software and tools used in law offices, such as case management software, legal research databases, and document management systems.
Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff within the firm to ensure efficient workflow.
Continuing Education:Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations and participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Adherence to Ethical Standards:Adhere to ethical standards and rules of professional conduct applicable to the legal profession.
